Information on NAECS-SDE Strategic Planning Focus Groups:

With the Association's 50th anniversary right around the corner, not only is it a time for celebration, but it is an opportune time for reflection. As you may know, the Association is underway with a strategic planning process that is expected to be concluding Spring 2022. The Executive Committee believes that this refresh in priorities and strategies provides the organization and membership as a whole a path forward for the sustainability of our long living legacy across the early childhood field.

With the 2021 Roundtable a few weeks away, we are eager to provide an update on the strategic planning process, share leaders' perspectives from across the field regarding our role and future, and provide an opportunity for input on draft priority areas, mission and vision, and values statements. We are eager to hear from you and hope that you will join us in this conversation.

Our partners at School Readiness Consulting will be providing two opportunities for input across two Roundtable sessions, which take place from 11am-12pm ET on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 26 and 27.

Please know that we want to hear from as many members as possible as we progress through this strategic planning process. We hope that you will prioritize these sessions over the course of the Roundtable, but understand that simultaneous sessions will be extremely engaging. If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, we will be providing an opportunity for feedback via a short survey following the Roundtable.

If you have any questions regarding the strategic planning process leading up to the Roundtable, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
